Just get a set of coilovers and be done with it. Your stock shocks will blow after riding on lowering springs for a bit.
I would suggest BC Racing coilovers there prices great and are good quality best bang for buck under a grand |

cheapest way is to cut springs!
but yes, you should replace shocks too as you're oe shocks were not meant to be paired up with lowering springs. if you're not tracking the car, you can get away with brands like h&r which provide the look and comfort, not so much the performance. i'd stay away from cheapo brands like megan racing however. just remember, you get what you pay for.

Typically there is not really a 'cheap' way to lower a car. Figure about close to $1000+ when all is said and done, from product to alignment, etc.
