car was towed by nyc marshalls..... anyone experienced this before

So my car was towed by marshalls today. I called their office, they said it was towed because of the unpaid tickets. For the last 8 months i think i got like 4-5 parking tickets.I believe 2 for double parking 3 sanitation tickets, i went online and paid whatever appeared on the NYC Parking ticket pay online websait after i got those tickets. 2 sanitation tickets never appeared on websait so i never paid them i was thinking they got dismissed some how, and idk from where i got more tickets. So long story short i even checked it today after it was towed, there were no tickets on my car. License plate "U LOL" No unpaid parking violations were found for the plate number you have entered. http://nycserv.nyc.gov/NYCServWeb/NYCSERVMain can i fight them and get my car without any fee?

At best you will have to pay upfront for the tow/holding fee, and get reimburse if you can prove there is not a single outstanding ticket.

Garage List
yeah i think you'll have to pay the towing fee and ticket just to get the car back. might be able to fight the ticket after that.

That site only tell you tickets that were given by traffic authority/meter maids. If you got sanitation or from an officer it won't tell you.

If they have your car, they've got your money.

Yup, I noticed that your plate is a vanity plate, your prior plates also count as well, so if you got a ticket on a car before you got vanity plates, they count too.
