WOW, congrats on the build.

Although these types of builds get a lot of criticism, its nice to see that you are still going through with it at the end. To each their own, if the OP wants to spend his money this way, then by all means its on him.

I do see some of the points that people point out, though but at the end of the day its the owners decision. Best of luck , can't wait to see the complete finished product!

i likeee that projectt and thinking to makee one ii have 316i e90 2006 in egypt alot -of people doing this because of taxes and customs is 300 % so m3 costs 2,000,000 pounds alot

nice, looks like a real M3. if that pull next to me at the light i'll be a little intimidated. put in a V8 while you're at it, better yet a V10.

I have 3 options 335-v8 and I am thinking for v10 but the money are too much

Yeah, there isn't much to that thread. That thread was the most I found, perhaps someone will shed some light on whether or not it is possible.

Great project & very well done. Interesting that the most vocal bitchers suggesting “go buy an M3” are driving very old E9X + are totally clueless about how cars especially imports are priced & taxed in other countries.

The ecu from the edc is separately from the car !!
It is same think like pdc it is on cars equipment!
Does not need the ecu from the engine to work!

Dimitri are you putting the s65 motor in or keeping the engine original? Either way this is a fantastic job

i really admire your work, it looks great but with your further plans of an actual M3 engine, would it not have been cheaper to buy a 'real' M3?

I have all the parts subframe etc front rear from the M3
But I am thinking and 335 option I do not know yet :/

Look all the parts that I buy came from Germany
More cheap than here or other country ! we buy straigth from the factory

That's amazing that you buy straight form the factory from the source and its STILL cheaper than buying a M3. Those taxes must be insane!
