Thanks for the reply woodpecka. Bare with me here: looking at the schematics you attached I'd have to get the actual covers? I'm assuming your side bolsters and bottom seat are also for the e91. How much are you asking and do you have any more pics? ALso do you know how they attached the covers over the foam?

You still can't get PM. Reply to me by email at: woodpecka "at" gmail "dot" com
-The bottom covers are the same for e90 and e91 -The sides are shorter on the e91 so you can buy the one for e90 or try to fit yours. The covers are attached by wires on the foam. I can send you all the TBMW TIS instructions with the parts. |

Correct me if im wrong but E92's have folding seats standard right? I know you did this in the E90, good work finding those parts at those prices.

Thanks for the great writeup, msbc721! There is a small error in your parts list:
Quote:
Do you remember what is the part number for the side bolster clips? The part number posted in the other thread was wrong. |

I know it might be a little old report, but I finished mine thank to your DIY report.
Thank you very much for the detailed and carefully written manual. Helped me a lot! |

Great DIY and great help. Here's the deal: I have 2 e90s and changing out the entire leatherette with leather from the other car. ie...one is premium package and the other is not. So, technically I have all the parts needed including hardware. To clarify, the donor car has folding split seats the "new" car does not. The only parts I'm thinking I might need to purchase are the plastic screw holders that expand when mounting the manual seatback release handles..... Thoughts???? Am I missing anything here?
Thanks, Steve |
