BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 550.00

Item Interest
SOLD

I am selling a set of used Megan Racing coil overs off an E90 335i. They are equipt with adjustable camber plates and adjustable damper. These coilovers are priced low to sell. They are in great condition! One of the threads WAS stripped but I had it repaired by my machinist who does very good work.

Here is the link for the product page on Megan Racing: http://www.meganracing.com/product.a...id=15&catid=29

Applications:
All E90/E92/E93 models EXCEPT for xi models

The newer coilover kits come in green for the euro models - these were made in 2009 when the kits were red. The product was installed on the vehicle for roughly 15k miles and have been sitting in his garage since. No leaks or damage - in great condition!

We are selling these coil overs for a customer. He states that they have never been tracked on and roughly have 15k miles on them. There are no visible signs of leaks and the shocks have very good resistance and rebound when compressing by hand.

I don't see why they wouldn't fit on an xi model but it may be best to confirm with Megan Racing directly - product link listed above in original post.

It usually cost $250 to have coilovers installed. Shop rates may vary but that is just an average.

What is the logical option/solution to the stripped thread??

Would love confirmation on xi compatibility... I'd probably pull the trigger but can't tell even when looking on Megan Racing website.

Such a bitch that coilovers/suspension is such a premium for BMW when the same hardware/stuff goes into a honda for half the price.

Guess that's why you get to say you're in the ultimate driving machine.

The damaged thread seems to be quite the deal breaker. It needs to be repaired in order to install properly. I will be repairing the threads on the shock and updating the post with information regarding applications, pictures, and pricing ^^

I am a BMW enthusiast myself and know exactly where you are coming from. I will confirm the applications for you and post it as an edit in the main post. Thanks for your interest

Are these still available? Have you fixed the thread issue? If so I will take them as long as they are XI compatible.

BUMP - Apologies for the delay in getting these repaired and re posted - we have been very busy on some new projects. The threads have been repaired and are as good as new! Updated pricing.
