Posts 28, 54, and 57 sum up the differences between sport & msport fairly completely.

I just picked up a white M Sport 335d with three full years left on warranty/ maint. Must have been one of the last of the line. Had been looking for a sport because the seats are so great and saw one come up in Autotrader. It wasnt even cleaned up and on the lot when I arrived at the dealer. By the time I closed the deal two other people had shown up looking for it. Got a great deal and just love the car. My 4th 3 series and by far the best.

SoCal Dealer for 335d
I'm kinda interested in what dealer it was too. When I was shopping in Spring 2012 I was at Pacific BMW in Torrance and Beverly Hills BMW on Wilshire and corresponding with another one somewhere maybe in Pasadena. The first two had a good stock at the time, but I wasn't keen on driving it from LA to Maryland or having it shipped. Plus I wasn't quite ready to pull the trigger yet.

Yes they do. On large bumps or taking hard corners they rub very slightly on the fender. A small roll would fix this 100%
It is. I live near the new Adobe building. ![]() |

Mine is white also. Dealer was Monrovia. Can someone tell me more about the black roof and CF lip on cssmms' car? Also, any issues with Eibach pro-kit springs? I dont think they make a "d" specific set, so I assume the weight difference due to engine is negligible when it comes to performance or safety?

Nice, love those wheels...this is the car I sold a month ago...you think I also like those smoked titanium Morr's?... ![]() ![]() Also, you can really feel the unsprung weight difference with the Morr's cause car handles so much better when compared to the heavy OEM wheels...was very surprised by this when I took the Morr's off to sell them and put OEM's back on. ![]() Last edited by mact3333; 01-16-2013 at 02:29 AM. |

Ever since I did my first lightweight wheel setup on my first car I was hooked. The unsprung weight difference just gives the car an amazing feel and the rotational weight difference (double-whammy with the wheels) really helps out on the throttle response. (Especially in lower torque cars like my old one. This one...different monster) So Mact, I can't help but notice you've been spending a good bit of time in our little forum. AE you considering coming to the Dark side?

At the moment I am need of a daily driver that is decent with good gas mileage...so I just bought a 335D with Nav, sport, premium pkg with CPO....on its way from San Diego as we speak...hence I am on this board trying to learn about the 335D...I was very impressed with my test drive of the 335D with sports pkg and ended up buying one via internet the same day as my test drive. M3 gone now...I am kind of done with sports cars for now, as I have had a Porsche C4S, a Lotus and 4 M3's over the past 10 yrs...I also just moved...but when I get settled in again I am sure another sports car will be in the garage...I am thinking of a GTR or a GT3 for the next one. |
