Avoid Pro tints!! (NJ) - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hey guys just a little heads up for anyone in the Jersey area looking at Pro-Tints. They seem to be one of the most popular tint shops in the area, so I decided to give them a shot, big mistake since they are wasting a lot of my time and they complained my e92 rear window having too thick of a de-froster tape to work with. -____- this isn't a review or anything but if you can avoid them your better off!

It seems that every time a business has the word pro or expert etc in the name of the business they do a shit job. I tend to avoid places named like that.

well, that is somewhat true tho. i have bubbles on the top portion of my rear window. also an e92

yeah had my tints done at AutoImage and they also noted that the rear window would have some imperfections due to the dot matrix, only solution they had was putting a vinyl strip over that area but i opted out

I plan on going to Top of the line tint in Lodi. My buddy's tint job from there is flawless.

the guy is a rip off... my buddy got his 3 series done... its at the guy's house first of all.... and EXPENSIVE .... lol one man team... he charged $45 a window, $30 for small rear windows on an e92... and $50 for the rear window..
BULLSHIT PRICING.
idgaf. if your working from your home garage (solely), your prices should reflect it.

Sam's Window Tinting in Nanuet, NY (just over the border from North East NJ) very good work there, got mine done there a week ago with no issues at all.

Overpriced and does a terrible job on dot matrix on rear and side windows on an e92. They refused to redo job but I've learned to live with it. Go elsewhere...

Are you talking about pro tint in Newark? I had mine done there and it was pretty bad so removed it and went to Tom at the Art of Tint. Amazing job

I got my car done at a shop in Clifton, paid 110$ for the whole car. came out perfect.
i dont get why i would pay 200$ for tints. AT SOMEONES HOUSE, NOT EVEN A SHOP!
