Independent reliable shops in Portland?
Anyone know of a good independent BMW shop around portland? Need someone that has experience with a tuned car, I like being an informed consumer, like knowing whats going on with my car, and my wallet.

I've not used all of them but called most of them. So while I cannot discuss their quality, for quality & price see my review here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=660699 .
This was a big job, and most other shops did not really understand that you don't need to take the subframe off, although I pointed them to the tool that makes it possible. Price & quality were excellent, give Michael a try and you won't regret it.

Thanks!! Michael did the oil change and my service. Excellent, and will be going back! Thanks for the referral, apparently I missed you by minutes.

How well is 3 Series supported with aftermarket and specialty shops in the PNW?
Hypothetically, if I need something done, and I lack the specialty tooling or the job can be done better and cheaper by a professional, how many options do I have, where do I go (including the above)? Is most work done by the dealers, or are there quality shops that can do a better/equivalent work? TIA |
