Mulholland BMW Canyon Cruise - Pics and Video (LIME ROCK edition M3 content bonus!!)

Video first... tried a better GoPro angle! Some Avicii in the mix... my car definitely "makes me feel that way" and "sets me free"

And pics!

I'll indulge you guys with the Lime Rock M3 pics first ... then move on to the lowly other 3 series, and others, that were there.

And YES... I'm done with pictures for a while. (until at least summer when/if I do anything more to my car).

Just had to show that Lime Rock M3!

Nice video diggin the M3, if only I had RWD I see how easily you're flipping the wheel around lol XI in the canyons is a bitch to turn wheel. I see you go on the canyons a lot though..more or less pushing the limits. Have you tried going on Stunt road? My favorite place to go..we usually go in a caravan late at night incase of police..I provided a map, IMO it's a great place to unleash the car IF you know the road AFTER Stunt Road (this road is kind of easy). Backbone Trail and Tuna Canyon are the tricky ones, lots of blind corners that are easy to misjudge.

I have been up Stunt. And Piuma for the views. I actually don't go up too often (I just post pics and stuff every time I do, haha). I push pretty hard on Snake because I know the road pretty well now. Latigo, stunt and piuma I tend to take slower and cruise, especially with the blind corners.

Glad you liked the video!

Next time you go up there turn left instead and find your way towards Tuna Canyon..it's really eerie just a cruise through there will creep you out, something out of Jeepers Creepers. Until you see PCH then you're like thank god but it all good fun.

I'll definitely hit that up! Sounds fun (especially at night! haha)

Sadly, I won't be able to until the summer... heading back east to school this coming tuesday!

Even better during summer!! At least that way you aren't freezing your ass off up there just make sure when you do go wait at the top of Stunt for a while, snap some pics, and most importantly let your car cool down. Good luck with school!

Steering gear? If you are talking about the paddle shifters, I use both the gear selector and the paddle shifters.

I also feel confident with my hand positioning. My arms are short, so I can't grip the wheel at 10/2 and turn fully... I would understeer. The person I was driving with is probably like a step or two below a very advanced track driver, and he lives up in the canyons, so he's driven those roads (hard) every day since he turned 16. His only comments to me were that I should turn into a corner just a bit slower and in a gear lower, so that I could accelerate out quicker. I kept myself in higher gears to avoid really heating up the oil too much.

It's called Dynamic Damper Control and is included in the Competition Package. I test drove a 2013 M3 last weekend at the dealership. Thing's a beast.
