The DAB cradle is the cradle that the DAB unit is located into in order to be secured un the boot under the boot floor trim.
It is essential for anyone wishing to do the DAB upgrade with OEM kit.

Lol just come inside. Couldn't work out how to fit the handbrake cover but fitted the steering wheel one. Pics should be up on my thread shortly

Any info on the DAB unit Cam? PM me the details/age/spec and price. Will it need the holder as well?

Hi mate, hope you're feeling better and the ribs are on the mend, I once broke a friends ribs by accident and he was in pain for weeks, I felt SO guilty!
As for the DAB, it was from a 58 plate M5. I retrofitted it to mine without any hassle, it just appears more difficult than it actually is.
All you need in the way of parts (if memory serves) is the DAB unit and the cradle then a DAB aerial of your choice, either in the roof, on the window, under the bumper etc etc.
Once fitted it will need coding but it is so worth it.
One of the best mods I did to the car, talksport crystal clear, you can't beat it!

It cost me £295 and the cheapest you can get on Ebay at the moment is £275 so the value has to be around that if I throw the cradle in for free......
It is still on the car however so I will have to get it removed....!!!
