Many service procedures are easy with the right tool--and darned near impossible, without it.

Case in point: The Schwaben thin-walled deep-well spark plug socket is designed with the BMW N54/N55 3.0L in mind. The narrow plug tube in the 3.0L engine is not wide enough to accept common plug sockets, which can stick in place. Really stick.

The Schwaben thin-wall design fits easily in the plug hole. Its magnetic ring holds the plug safely during installation, then lets go when it should for fast socket retrieval.

Are these sockets updated ? I read previous threads that there was a problem with the magnet getting in the way but that ECS was working on updates with the manufacturer. Just making sure they are good to go before I place my order. Thanks.
