Best N55 Meth Kits?
I'm interested in installing meth on the car but the only kit that people seem to be using the the WW meth kit from BMS. Is this the only meth kit for the n55? For those who have installed meth, how are the gains? Do you recommend it? What kit are you using? Thanks for the help
Jake

All of the BMS meth kits work. I have the 2.2 Gallon trunk mount meth kit with stainless steel braided lines.
Works very well. I run a mix of E85/93 octane + Meth with Map 3. The most gains that I find are on a road course where over 30 mins of hard driving, you find very little heatsoak and power loss. On the street it's pretty nice. Just more power. Not much to gain in terms of heat suppression if you run E85 + upgraded FMIC. ![]() ![]() Quote:

http://www.burgertuning.com/meth.html Choose the n55 option for the meth ~$530 2. No upgraded FMIC is ok. 3. Have not put my car on the dyno since meth. Have not had the chance. |

I have the bms meth kit with Devils Own meth nozzles, lines, solenoid, and the 2.2 gallon trunk tank.
Yes, because race car, you need upgraded FMIC. I have dozens of dynos which prove the benefit. U do NOT get large HP gains or TQ. What you DO get is LOWER IAT's, and in Florida....... anything I can do to make my setup run COLDER it's a good thing. The n55 has a bad heat soak issue, the upgraded fmic addresses this problem. Just do it.
