Just lookin for ideas for some new rims for a 06 330xi....don't have a lot of cash so I'm definately lookin to be ballin on a budget!!!!

The rims you have on the car are in my opinion one of the nicest made for the 3 series.

to me, budget means under 1000 lol hell even under 800 if possible WITH tires. op id say find some used csl reps with tires. they pull off the job for cheap. i found a set for $600 with tires. ended up selling them cause it was winter but found a set of AG M359's for $900 with tires and couldnt pass up the deal. its not hard to find great deals but u have to look long and hard lol

Used AG 310 or 359?

Your final cost will not just depend on the rims you get, but also the size of the rim; whether it is staggered etc. because that directly translates to the price of the tires as well.

18X8 squared setup with 225/35 all round = cheaper overall.
vs.
19X8/9.5 staggered with 225/35 and 265/30 = more expensive combo, esp. for tires.

Don't really know much about the tires. U say staggered and that refers to what?

A squared (or some say regular) setup is where all for rim/tire sizes are the same.

A staggered setup is where the rear rim/tire sizes (usually tire sidewall and rim/tire width) are larger than the front. This gives the appearance of a more aggressive and fatter rear look (also better summer traction if you are RWD).

There should be some stickies in the this forum on that, or simply search for squared vs. staggered to get the idea of what is right for you.

But yes, a staggered setup (wheel + tires) will usually be more expensive than a squared setup simply because you are ordering off-sizes.
