The term as is does not apply if the product sold is not what the seller claimed it to be and what the buyer agreed to purchase. It falls on the seller to make sure that the product he is selling IS in fact what he claims it to be.

To be honest, I'll likely stop using this forum altogether once I settle this issue. Would you still want to be apart of a community where this happened to you? Where people jumped all over you using all kinds of names and accusing you of being a fraud and a scammer?

You'll find that in any forum dude, NEVER go to my350z they will rip you thru shreds for nothing and just being new. Overall ive come to see that this forum has alot of good, honest and humble people regardless of their financial status but there will always be a few misguided souls that comment on situations they have no experience with or idea of what happened(guilty as charged sometimes).

But at the end of the day like Nate said your character and the way you conducted yourself thru this situation speaks great of your values and morale. Wanting to help solve an issue when it may not even be your fault to begin with and after all the criticizing may not be the easiest thing to do but its the right thing to do.

Don't be dis encouraged by the foul mouths and those who just chime in with nonconstructive criticism and do things right by you and the buyer and at the end of the day all you need to worry about is the personal satisfaction of doing the right thing not the perception a bunch of people(you don't know) behind a computer have of you.

I understand why you want to delete it, but to be honest I don't think these kinds of threads are meant to be deleted. It is a record of something that actually happened - not a complete fabrication. In the end though, it doesn't matter because you did the right thing. I'd leave it out here as testimony.

I just want the posts saying Im a scammer or a fraud to be deleted. Some people posted things as if they knew they were facts that were not facts.

Also I obviously want the title to be changed. Anyone just glancing at it wont know the true story.

Facts:

1. Incantana got screwed when he got the exhaust initally from another person.

2. E90Bedi got screwed when he got the same exhaust.

3. Incantana is not obligated to give any refund, but can if he's willing to do the right thing.

4. Incantana's reputation is shot as people will think twice before purchasing from him, but still might purchase because he cleared it all up.

5. And for the love of god people if the exhaust doesnt have this steel tag welded to it, it is NOT a performance exhaust
