Nice. I activated my rear fog lights by doing the DIY switch mod, but it would be nice to have a euro switch with the label on the button instead.

** I get nothing from selling Mike's services, btw. We've become friends only thru my professional dealings/relationship with him. I've seen his work, and it's UNMATCHED. Truly. His performance tunes are even more impressive.

I do have a cable, not sure if it is the right one ...
and I have taken years of Java, C++, as well as I can make my own iphone apps. these computer programs are arguably much more difficult than bmws.

Thats why I am pretty sure that I can do it. worst case I save the initial file and revert it back to stock. Its not perminent unless you lose the files that are already on the car. If i do mess it up and Mike is as good as you say he is then he should be able to fix it.

I am not opposed to doing the coding, I would just like to give it a shot before I spend 400$ to code both of these cars.

from my understanding it is as easy as changing a line in a specific module from
Nicht_aktiv to
Aktiv

again I could be wrong.. still interested in the coding if I cant get this to work
