Can Anyone Help Me With This Issue???
ok, obviously there is a chip in the paint from someone trying to open the (urea port cover??) anterior to the rear fender wall with a screwdriver(idiot!)...but my question is this, the "bump" you see on circular plastic cover, is this normal?...do your cars have this or is this am imperfection from someone doing bad paintwork on the cover?...thx.

That bump is not only normal, it has a specific purpose. That is the "press here to open" indicator. Had the doofus that used the screwdriver known this, you would not have a chip in the paint.

The previous owner or dealership service person did the same to my car. Dumbasses.

Luckily I haven't had this happen (yet). I'm out of warranty and to stop by the dealer last week because no start in 999 came up. Dealer filled def and topped off all other fluids at no charge. Sweet! They do always spill the def all over the rear of the car though. Weird.
