I've removed the .txt from the name and VUZE torrents picks it up to download, but says zero(0) seeders and zero (0) peers....

It's long but it's there... Once you downloaded all 21 .rar files, you can assemble and extract the files with WinRar (from rarlabs) or WinZIP.

Tempted to update my 09 maps to the '13. Can someone who has done the update do me a quick favor?

I'm curious to know if 3D perspective in Vancouver, BC Canada shows the buildings? My 09 map just shows some landmarks such as stadiums in Downtown, but nothing more.

Successful update to 2013 Maps for 2009 e93 335 with 1-31-09 build date. Also went perfect for my 2009 750Li with 4-28-09 build date.

I can tell you in Toronto, the 3D perspective showed the CN Tower, Dome and the major bank towers downtown. Looked awesome. Never saw it like that before.

I can also caution you all, from experience, NOT to use any USB stick greater than 32gb. 32gb still formats as FAT32, but after that, 64gb and 128gb format as exFAT and that does not seem to work for MP3 music or this firmware update. It *MUST* be FAT32 for success!

I used a 64GB flash drive and had no issues. It was only $15 more so I got the bigger one. It came formatted as FAT from the factory.

I am not sure that there were a lot of changes to the 3D buildings. I know that in my area in South Surrey there were no visible changes. However, I believe for the amount I spent to update it, it's worth it. At least you'll have the Golden Ears bridge, and the new Port Mann bridge and its new exit ramps included in the maps

I updated my navigation to 2013 from 2010 and it went great only problem is it still can't find my house or area around me and I am not in a newer area. Weird any one in Southern California notice 3d areas not seeing barely anything around here.

Thanks for that info! Those changes totally make it worth it! My current maps doesn't even have the Queens borough bridge off/on ramp updates, so it always looks like i am driving on grass.

Pleasantly surprised to hear that the Port Mann bridge is included even though all the construction is not completed yet

I think i will go ahead with the update too

I have a 2013 328i which I special ordered and took delivery in October. The build date is on/about Sep 7, 2012. I received an urgent/recall notice from my dealership for a NAV Software Update B652212 which I had completed last week. No one at the dealership service department can tell me what the update consisted of, whether it was just a POI or a full software upgrade and I have noticed no difference in performance. They told me that I should receive a letter from BMW explaining the recall. I found this whole conversation rather strange that a service manager did not know what a B652212 consisted of. Does anyone have any help? Thanks.

As a postscript I have found this very expensive Navigation option to be very disappointing. With the exception of the display in the HUD my $150 Garman did a much superior job both visually and in navigation, and additionally displayed posted speed limits.

I use my Garmin despite having the BMW Nav. It also shows the accurate speed, since BMW speedometers show 5% fast. And, the trip computer is more accurate and feature-laden on the Garmin. And map updates are free! Ain't it funny how that $150 device outperforms the $2100 iDrive/Nav option.

But let's all agree, we didn't buy our BMWs for the Nav system. Did we?
