its a track event. but from past experience, you dont get a lot of track time. there are too many people trying to take advantage of this 'free' track event.

i believe george was lucky enough to get a lot of track time cos he waited till the end of the day when everyone started to leave...

i am personally out. dont like waiting around and not doing anything for most of the day.

Anyone going to some of the Watkins Glen events between May 3-12th?

Thinking if I make the trip, might as well stay for at least a couple DE's

So I might go to Atlanta for a convention in early May. I am debating if I should go with my car (3 hours further than VIR) and do a weekend event with Chin at Road Atlanta.

would be a great idea if you had a chance of doing it... but i guess you wont have access to your slicks... but it would be a new track to you so i guess it will take you a while to learn the track anyway.

youre right... just that this time around i have an important work thing on monday morning at 7.30am... just afraid i might not make it due to flat tire or other mechanical problems if i encountered any on the way home.

i dont know, i am still on the fence. i need to get back here for that monday morning thing no matter what.

You could quit early on Sunday (2PM+)...

Or we do the May event. But I would skip the Friday DDT.
