Does bmw cover recalls on salvage title? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

ok so i was wondering if bmw dealer will cover hpfp on a salvage. i know that warranty is voided when a car is salvage but recall isn't a warranty...

Most of the dealers don't cover.
In your case they most likely will, because HPFP is a common problem.
Just bring the car in and don't mention anything unless they bring it up.
SA will always find reasons not to perform free service.

My brother had 2008 335i salvage and the dealer replaced hpfp with no problems.

yeah i dont have any problem right now but if i ever do i dont think i should have a problem since it is a recall....

Unless the car was totaled by BMWUSA, how would they know salvage or otherwise?
That is, unless you plan to tell them?

don't know about this specifically but my local dealership said they would do the battery cable recall regardless of title type, they just don't honor regular warranty work..
