Hey guys,
I found this used custom kit built exhaust online
It was used on a 2008 335i convertible before the owner sold it and kept the exhaust

my question is
will it fit on my 2008 335i sedan?

if it will, will the bolts match up or will i have to adjust anything ?

i read other forums that kind of helped but i'm not entirely sure
they say a sedan has resonators but coupes have x pipes and coupes exhaust tips are longer
do those differences matter?

also will it set off any check lights if i install it?


this is how the seller describes it "excellent condition exhaust off an 2008 BMW 335I. Has custom resinators, mufflers and 4" magnaflow tips and stainless pipe. Sounds great, selling car, new owner wanted stock exhaust so its whisper quiet. This system is not too loud, just sounds more aggressive and tips look great. Its fully welded one piece."

Im sorry I can not tell you if itll fit, but I have the same set up on my car which is a 2008 335i sedan and it sounds awesome. Since its the same set up that i have on my 335i sedan its possible it may fit, but i know i fitted mine from the sedan and idk if it would transfer over from one made on a convertible.

i wasn't too sure about the sound either the guy didn't make any clips before selling it

not i just need to find out is if it will fit

did you purposely make a duplicate post and bolded all your words? You couldnt wait a few hours for people to reply back?

I wouldnt risk fitment on the exhaust since it's not originally made for your car. You wont get any check engine lights, I've seen some members do crazy things to their exhausts and no check engine.
If there are no sound clips to a "custom" exhaust that no one has ever had or seen, then most most likely NO ONE has ever had or seen it. If youre looking for a cheap alternative, many members here have done muffler deletes and resonator deletes and etc. Do a and you'll find what you need.

i just found a good deal thats why i was interested in getting it
by clips i meant videos of it when it was on the car
