Offset and Rim Help...
First of all I apologize, I have spent all morning going through these threads "trying" to find the answer/solution to my issue with no luck, so if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
I have a 07 335i Sedan and looking to go with the following rims. http://www.ebay.com/itm/19-BMW-GTS-C...item4d08f6ce40 I am new to the "staggering" thing, these show a stagger of 35mm front and 35mm rear. What will this look like? Also, I have a brand new set of tires that are the following, will these work? Front: 225-35-19 Back: 255-30-19 Thanks and let me know your thoughts. Mike |

The fronts will work but a 235/35 would fill out the rim better and out back on a 9.5 rim I think a 265/30 would be a real good fit. I think 255/30 will probably work but you may have a stretched look. Thats when the tire is narrower than the rim and the rim sticks out.

Hi Mike.
I have been researching the same sort of stuff for awhile now, and finally down to the short strokes before I order a set for spring. Here are some bits I found useful which may also help you. What a 225/35/19 might look like on an 8.5" rim: http://tyrestretch.com/8.5_225_35_R19/ (225 is the minimum size for an 8.5" rim, 235-245 is preferred, 255 max) http://www.kouki.co.uk/utilities/vis...ize-calculator What a 235/35/19 might look like on an 8.5" rim: http://tyrestretch.com/8.5_235_35_R19/ They don't have any similar 255 or 265, but poke around. Two other interesting offset/sizing tools: Rims n Tires: http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp Will They Fit: http://www.willtheyfit.com/ Just watch your ratios front-to-back: 3% max for RWD, 1% max for AWD. Good luck. |

are these rims easy to bend?
Sorry for trolling. best is to go with 235/35 front 265/30 rear. offset 35 is okay. but 30 front and 32 rear would be flush. if lowered and original camber. |

I wouldn't touch these... most likely very poor quality heavy cast wheel. You get what you pay for. And 225 would be stretched on 8.5 rim. Just my 2c ...

If you dont mind me asking where you got your rims, looking for the same wheel but in a matte black. Thanks. Mike |

I bought them through one of the guys on the Australian forum who organised a group buy. His website is: http://www.bmrautowerkes.com.au/prod...-cr-19-wheels/ I am loving them. |

Should fit fine. I'd space out the wheels. 235/265 tire would fit better

Good Evening!
Alright last question and then hopefully close up this thread. Ordered the rims today from a good friend in SD, CA that could get his hands on what I was looking for. Ended up with the M3 CSL Matte Black, 19x8.5 38mm off set (Front). and 19x9.5 38mm off set (Rear) With that being said I have known him for years but heres where I will argue with him and would like all your thoughts. He is telling me to run with a 255-30-19 Rear because the 265 will rub? Anyone had this. Im running a 07 335i with Sport Package RWD. Would really like to get the 265 on there but last thing I want to do is rub. Thoughts and then I will shut up! Really appreciate everyones help on this. Learned more about wheels, rims, sizes, etc then I ever thought I would. Thanks Mike |

I think you are going to need some sort of spacer since you said the wheel has et38. I think a 15 mm would do the trick and no you shouldn't rub.
