What does this button do?

Don't know where to ask.

I ordered the Performance Trim for my e92 335i and today i got the wront part for the second time.
First time without the iDrive and now with a hole under the iDrive Button.

Does anybody know for what that hole is?

That's exactly where my droptop button is located. Not sure if other models use it for other purposes.

Yes, that Pic is from an e93 M3.

Send the Pic to my BMW Dealer because no one there knew what fits in that hole
Hopefully i will get the right part (sooner or later)

Does somebody have the partnumber for the Performance Part for the e92 with iDrive? BMW is not able to order the right Part lol

Now they want a FIN from the Cabrio Part. Nuts! Just a random part... Couldn't be so difficult!
