My jb4 settings have been compromise
my son has seen me selecting maps 1 & 2 before when im driving bout
al of a sudden he's a pro tunner
as i was washing my car not paying attention to my lack of help (my son)
i notice he was playing with the jb4 steering wheel control
i've been ing and would like to change my setting back to jb4 factory . any help would be appreciated

Ok, so when you access it, You revert to your map selection(speedo map 0). Maps are what you should really be worried about running. If your stock stick to map 1 or 5.

Your speedometer is your "menu" and your tachometer is your selection/map. ok?

so your left set of steeringwheel controls will control speedo and right steering wheel controls control tachometer.

to set to factory or JB4 OFF, your should see your speedometer on 0MPH/ Menu 0. and your tachometer on 0.

depending on your mods, you can switch to map 5 (left-speedo 0mph) (Right-5000k RPM/map 5)

to confirm your selection press down on your LEFT steeringwheel controls a couple time.

to toggle, just switch tachometer to your selection and exit the command control. i hope this helped you. revert back to the chart to see what each map(tachometer) does.

thank you for your respose. i would like to continue to ride with jb4 map 1 or 5 but i would like the jb4 factories setting restored not bmw oem . im not sure what setting where alter when my son pushed the control buttons i know for a fact something is differnt. i now turn to stock tunning ( map 0 ) i wont be using my car untill i fix the problem. im still learning the jb4 control features i think there great i do read on this form all the time thats how i bought the right car for me i just need a little guidance

why dont you just hook it up to your laptop and reset the settings?

Once you have the usb line download the 12/14, or newer if it comes out, interface software. Hook up the laptop to the JB4 & with the motor running select FILE upper left corner of the interface drop down to reset defaults give it a click & you are good to go.

i took pictures let me know what needs to be change to safely run map 1 as i recive my usb cable so i can restore my setting thanks

According to the pics, every thing is fine. You can change pic 1 from 0-1 to 0-5 for autotune and pic 2 from 20-1 to 20-0 to remove "boost on fuel gauge".
