What to do with old Michelin PS2's
Evening all,
Just about to have my rears replaced, but the tyres are still a few miles away from the wear indicators. What should I do with the rears that are being taken off? Are they now useless or can they be sold on so someone can use them for tack days? ![]()

Totally thought this was going to be about Sony Playstations!
Stick em on eBay maybe? Put them in Classifieds on here? Someone was asking the other day about part worn tyres (think it was to do with selling the car) |

Cheers, just thought it was a 'no no' to sell just about legal tyres.

There is legislation regarding part worn tyres, I'm not sure if that affects individuals or not, might be worth reading up on.
Noticed this in the local tyre place the other day: ![]() Apologies for the DOF, I was stood to one side! Last edited by coopersim; 02-02-2013 at 01:23 PM. |

I like the first point on the poster. Lets hope we all have new tyres on in the event of an accident.

Like an insurance company would know the tyres were part worn when fitted! Twats ![]() I'm tempted to send that poster to the LBAC.

Funny poster
![]() Back to the OP, I'd stick them in the classifieds here, on PH and on eBay. If they're standard sizes someone will snatch your hand off to get them as semi-slick track tyres. |
