quick question, I'm contemplating obtaining a PE for my 325i. Should I install the PE first before getting the stage 2 tune or will it not matter (and the car will just adapt to the change if flow)?

if you do this post dyno's

I believe you will see gains in torque in low end, not much in the high end because it is the same ecu as 328i, just more optimized so there is less room for tune improvement
DESI4life10 dynos of disa + AA may be the best example

Bump.... this is the 4th time I've had to ask AA for a simple answer with no response. It seems that they only respond to potential sales inquiries.

It should say in your paperwork if they updated the ecu for any reason. You can always double check by calling your Service Adviser and have them verify if it was updated or not.

If you do not have a simon tool you will have to send us the ecu.

Hope you are referring to the flash and not the exhaust, but yes our flash will work perfectly in your 325.

I believe there is, I talked to Andrew on the phone the other day when I was ordering my exhaust and tune. He had mention that they were going to have a 328 on the dyno and would have an updated tune out.

How much would it cost for me to upgrade to the new software? I already have the stage 2 tune and Simon. I also have a PE and Eurobox, what would be the power increase over the stage 2? This new tune looks really promising. Is it worth upgrading?

I just got an Active tune yesterday on my 2007 530i N52 so I am trying to figure out if I got the stage 2 or stage 3...

Its just some minor fueling changes that we found could be improved based on the 328 test unit with our exhaust, k&n filter and charcoal filter removed. We averaged 2-4 whp gains in the mid range.

So there wouldn't be much benefit for me if I already have the Stg 2 along with an exhaust and intake installed, correct?

Like I said its a minimal 2-4 hp gain. If you have a Simon tool it might be worth it.

This is for the 328 only! 325's and 330's are not affected.

Yes Its more like revision 3. People seem to think stage 2 requires other performance parts so lets just call it revision from now on to help with the confusion.
