BMW - France
Hello my fellow BMW owners,
As some of you might have done before, I've lost my service book. I bought my car from a guy that imported my E92 320D from France to Spain and under the transport he lost Service Book, Instructions Book, Etc. I've been trying to get a hold of a new service book for 6 months now and I've kind of given up, I've contacted Bmw in Spain and they can give me all the books, but they will be blank ;-( ![]() I've tried contacting Bmw France (using Google Translate, I don't speak French), they keep saying I should contact the garage where the car was serviced, but how the heck would I know where it's been serviced??? Is there anyone that can help me with this situation? Any tips on what to do? Anybody from France which might live next door to Bmw so they could contact the garage for me? ![]() VIN: WBAWD110X0PV86407 |

Hi
your car has been sold by a German dealer in 2007 probably. Just check your vin : http://www.rubmw.ru/vincode/eng/ Do you still have the french ID-plates on the car ? If yes, you can then find the french department of the previous owner and so a short list of dealers in this department. First step... |

You should propably go to the guy you brought your car from maybe he can give you information. Anyways why do you need your old service book? just change your oil/filters/fluids and you'd be good to go. And since your car is 2011, i dont think it needs major maintenance.

Secondly, would you buy a car with no service history? I have no proof what so ever that the mileage is real and not changed. What would a car with a full service book to prove mileage be worth compared to a car with no book? |

Yes, they told me to contact directly BMW-France , through this page :
http://www.bmw.fr/fr/fr/owners/servi...ent/index.html I will try on monday (if I don't forget ! ) But someone should have the bill/saler name or official paper for first registration in Spain. Knowing the name/address of the previous owner in France is a key data. |
