X3 sirius options

Posted a question on X3 forum, and that forum is not getting enough activity.. Can anyone help with options:

http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=798818

So here is my dilehma, my 2007 X3 LCI has sattelite prep package with basic HIFI stereo. Went to my local BMW dealer to see what my options are for adding sat radio and the SA gave me part numbers - $530 for the unit and another $50 for the mounting bracket. Ok not too bad, considering that it comes with 1 year subscription. So then I asked him to see if there is an iPod integration module available, and yes he gave me a part number and price was under $300. The caviat is that you can only install either one.

So my question to the group here, what are my options? I would like to have both iPod and Sat radio in my car (due to commute), and I dont want to have to deal with aftermarket antenna wiring etc.. I want to be able to control both iPod and sat radio through my head unit. Is it possible to have both installed?

Thanks!!!!

A dension gateway 500s bluetooth

Would give you ipod ,usb , a2dp steaming I don't know what there options are
for satalite but it does have and aux input.

Some of the newer OEM radios have usb , bluetooth and HD radio
integrated into the head unit but bmw won't retrofit them in and older car .

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=687463

I would think you would be able to add Sat to one of those.

That it does, however, i do like controlling through my HU as I do with my other car. Location for AUX input in X3 is terrible, my son has broken 5 cables by stepping on them, it is located in the rear of center console..
