Aero lip installed....Finally
Hi,
A few months back I sourced a secondhand bumper complete with OEM aero lip. Finally pulled my finger out and got it painted and fitted. Always wanted the aero lip ever since I bought the car 13 months ago! Money well spent! so far the colour match looks good and it really adds an aggressive touch to the otherwise tame 'SE' front end.At the same time I've had M3 rear lip and genuine MSport skirts painted and fitted. Haven't got a photo to show of that angle right now but I'm sure you're all aware what they look like anyway!! Next stop: Eibach springs to sort out that front arch gap! ![]() |

Aero lip is the best front end mod for the E9x IMO. It's a real shame there's no equivalent for the MSport bumper, and to retrofit an SE bumper just to have the aero lip is a PITA.
Good job ![]() |

Bought the lip and bumper as one unit. Think the lip has been bonded on as it certainly wasn't budging!
OEM lip fits bumper nicely...just got some tinkering to do to improve the lines between bumper and bonnet...appears to be a common e92 build issue! |

Looks amazing - well done.
I have pretty much the exact same mod list (Genuine BMW front Aero lip, Genuine M-Sport skirts and M3 rear lip). One of the best things i also did was blacken out the bottom grilles and fit colour coded top grilles. I must say, the car has never looked better and I've never appreciated it's looks more. I used to be a bit envious of M-Sport cars when I bought mine, but since one parked next to me the other day and I could see mine and the M-Sport parked next to each other, i can honestly say, hand on heart, that i completely prefer mine. The M-Sport by comparison looks a bit "plain". I also fitted the M-Sport steering wheel which is fantastic. Mine: ![]() Last edited by Subzero2003; 02-09-2013 at 01:56 PM. |

That looks spot bollo*k!! Love it!
I've also got my paint guy to do my grilles/aero lip colour coded which'll soon be up. Your LMB looks so damn sweetttttt!!
