So two weeks ago I was in VT and the temp went below zero. Car was very slow to start that morning. Ever since if I leave the radio on upon turning the car off the battery light comes on. Time to replace the battery I think.

Well, the battery indicator is clear/black, not yellow. What gives? Car starts just fine when it's above 20F.

I have had the car 5 years (bought CPO with 22k on it), and I Haven't replaced the battery...

If its been at least 5 years it's probably a safe bet your battery is on it's way out, you could always get it checked.

Mine was yellow and it was the battery.. but your battery is 5 years old. Id say go grab a battery from autozone 127.00 dollars or napa 119.99 and put it in. Don't forget to have someone reg the battery for you and don't change to AGM they have to program the computer.

Yeah, the only thing that bugs me is the window was clear/black, not yellow. I WISH it were yellow.
I have this posted elsewhere and they're telling me it could be the starter !?

I'm pretty sure it's the battery. I have the same problem. My radio won't work without having the engine running. Angel/tail lights no longer turns on when unlocking. REST figure was also disabled. My car starts just fine btw.

Given the Low Batt. Voltage warning, you might also have the IBS checked.

When mine developed an intermittent fault, it caused the alternator to overcharge at a rate of 17.5 volts which resulted in stalling, low battery warnings, etc.

Thanks. Apparently you can't ship them. Also, they're very specific. What model do you have?
