Sorry if it's slightly off-topic, but I figured Californians should have a heads up of what's going down, and the people in other states should have a heads up of what's possibly heading their way....

WOW, and I thought we had it bad in NY with the new SAFE Act.

Texas is looking better and better, isn't it?

I have the xdm45, it's a fantastic handgun. No complaints whatsoever.

I've been wanting one of these but heard it is finicky with ammo. What do you put through it and what has worked for you?

Can someone explain this particular point in these new proposals......

ALL magazines must be fixed to the gun (can not be removed without the use of a tool)

How can you load the mag if you can't remove it...?

It doesn't mean you can't remove the magazine .. it means that you need a tool to be able to remove the magazine and not just remove it by the click of a button.

So you can't walk into a theatre and shoot a bunch of people, click a button to drop your magazine and load in another magazine instantly. You'd have to shoot a bunch of people, get your tool out and remove the magazine, and then put another in before going back to shooting people making it a longer process so people can run.

What sort of narcotic substance was the moron on that dreamed up that idiotic idea..............

I thought our UK firearm laws were bad, but that's just insane.

Politicians man ... Instead of fixing the problem they come up with some crazy ass ideas.

Disarm the people that follow the laws - obviously a big big problem that needs to be remedied.
