I'm going to be nice and say "do a search." There's lots of info about it.

SMG will be offered on the 330i but it's important to remember that the version offered will not have the same software as the version offered on the M cars which is far superior. It was for this reason that I elected to go with the 6-speed manual on my E90 330i order instead of the non-M version SMG offered.

i've been reading that the release date is in september. Is that just an estimate because i've been debating if i should wait for SMG or not. I dont wanna wait till september and find out that its gonna be another month or too. But on the same note is there any chance it might come out earlier?

Remember September is the expected date for Europe, the USA might be later.

Also please remember this SMG is not like the SMG on the M3 or M5. Go drive one before you decide, even if its a Z4 or 5 Series with SMG

Here is a test muel with SMG

I had a dealer tell me yesterday that SMG has been delayed or cancelled for the 330i this year. I have no more info and have no idea if this is true (so please don't flame me!). Just passing along exactly what I was told.

this is what they told me as well but I just got confirmation from another representative that it will be available. No news or bulletin from BMW about SMG not being unavailable. Just rumors. It's still on the price sheet so just ignore it now.
