Map 5 autotunes, meaning the JB4 will adapt various perameters to suit the mods that are on your car, you can run map 5 with anything under the sun, from tune only, to FBO. Outside of the tune, you don't "need" anything to use map 5, it will figure out what type of boost and timing it can safely target and go from there.

Thanks a bunch for the info... So Map5 would be the way to go it sounds like if you already have a few mods.. Ive seen on here that some ppl have better luck running map 2 over 5, is this based on whats on the car already?

Every car will be different.

You need to log both map 2 and map 5 to see if there is a difference.
