Good Audio Shop GVA?

Hi,

I've been on the fence for a while about whether to invest in a serious audio upgrade for my 2009 328i xDrive. I think I'm going to go ahead.

There is stuff I am definitely comfortable doing, such as the amp and the speakers. However, I am aware enough of my limits that I think I want a professional to do the head unit. I do not have iDrive and want to add a double-din HU with nav/video in (rear camera)/bluetooth audio/etc. Probably go with the Kenwood 6990.

Any recommendations for a good shop that will do a nice job, including the relo of the stock HU to the trunk to retain system chimes and everything? Dealer recommended Ralph's. I did send an email to Jordan Lin at Vantage and Soundsgood (both of which were recommended a couple of years ago here) but no response.

TIA

Thanks ... I actually connected with him on the weekend and he's putting together a quote. Good to know he's still recommended by people ...

Just as a follow up, Jordan never bothered to follow up with an actual quote. Nor did he respond to my email following up the request. Obviously, I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

However, I did head out to SoundsGood's Bby shop and they were awesome to deal with. Very pleased with the work they did (will post up a pic or two in the next few days) and with the service level. Absolutely recommend them!

Snapped with my phone and not the best quality, but gives you an idea of the work they did. Looks completely OEM and the factory head unit was relocated to the trunk to keep all the system warnings, etc.

All in all, a little over $2000. That included the head unit (Pioneer X940BT), rear camera, bezel (which I sourced), heated seat relocation kit, wiring harnesses, adapters, and labour.
