Better plan on spending some cash on upgrading a base C6 suspension. I think the 335i handles likes its on rails where the C6 loves to slide its ass in end out alot. Upgraded sway bars, leaf springs and coil overs is what youll need.
Stick with the BMW and get these turbos IMO

Yes, that is "the" risk on Z06, but one option was to change the engine heads for aftermarket on a used 40-45k Z06. Many Zs are being tracked, and even high mileage Zs did not have the valve and valves guides issues. The other is the C6 GS as you mention with Z51 package or Z16 package.

umm I just left the vette world after 2 years and just from the people who posted on the vette forums I saw easily 50 that said they dropped valves. This doesnt account for the people who arent on the forums. My friend works at the chevy dealership here where I live and has seen many come through with 500 miles up to higher mileage.
First thing I would do is swap the heads out for sure.

Were figuring it out. I need to crunch the numbers and what I think production will cost and I will be posting a ballpark price range soon.

WOW... 6 different turbo options. That sounds pretty exciting ....

I have done 4 turbo swaps on my other cars (VW and Audi). I cant wait to get to work on this N54. I have only had my car for about 5 months but I am really enjoying modifying it.

What are the software tuning options going to be for these kits?

That is some serious flow...probably will make more WHP than the stock internals can handle !

The GTx28s use factory style WGA. That means all the already available tunes will work with them(with some tweaks, of coarse)

The GTX's do not use the factory style WGA. They used a boost controlled WGA. We adapted the stock actuators to work with the GTX's to make them easier to tune.

How's the spool feel at 8-10psi? Feels good?

Do you guys plan on upping the boost until you find out where the stock internals fail? or do you plan on playin it safe

That's a good idea. Are there different ways of doing it? I never checked how Shiv did it.

Considering he said this isn't his car, I don't think the plan is to break things, at least I'd assume.

Unless we make a fund for someone to blow up their engine when they get this kit. Get 300 people to toss in $20 each and there is your blow up the engine fund.

I honestly think the internals can take 800 whp. It just a hunch from looking at the timing tables. Its either BMW was beating the hell out of the N54 when testing or they just decided to be generous

First, we need to find the fueling system limitations which is still in conjecture.

Oh whoops I thought this was his car. I'm interested to see how the parallel pumps perform, this application is going to put down some serious power.

IIRC 07-10 N54's have forged internals.

That's pretty much been deemed a myth, although most refuse to believe it. High quality Cast pistons.
