Clutch Job - Couple of Questions for Experienced DIY?

1. Change Rear Main Seal at 120,000 miles during clutch job (yes/no)?

2. Torque spec for 8 flywheel bolts (build 1/2008) going back with steel FW from Spec with Stage 2+.

3. Torque spec for aluminum bell-housing bolts?

4. Change anything else while we are in there?

5. Assuming the clutch kit has everything else I need?

Do the rear main while you are there. The part is insanely cheap compared to the labor to get there again.
New flywheel bolts
New Trans bolts
New release bearing (I have one for sale if you need one)
New pilot bearing (mine was stuck in the input shaft, huge pain to get out but might as well.

Might want to grab a new turbo inlet tube seal. It's a rare part that no one carries, good to have it just in case so you don't get held up.
My old one was soaked in oil and the tube had slid off the turbo inlet.

Be sure to install the release bearing the proper way. Check a thread I created not long ago.

11+90 degrees probably equal 22 ft lbs. Those 90 degrees are deforming the bolt. That's why the aluminum bolts need to be replaced, they stretch into the strain hardening region and don't return to their original length.

I can't get under my car right now, working, however wondering what exhaust gaskets need to get replaced for this clutch job? I looked up oem part diagrams and only see 2 gaskets in the rear, but nothing up front? parts 18307553603

When you start trying to get to the very top bolt from underneath work from the passenger side of the tranny... I tried from middle and drivers side for the longest time with no success.

I didn't plan on changing the pilot if it was good, cause I heard it can be a real pain... it was fine.

Depending on the new FW, you may need a press to remove/install the stock pilot bearing shaft.

Got my Steel SMFW and Stage3+ a week ago.
Alignment tool, Pilot Bearing and TO Bearing was also in the package.

I will do my Clutch next week.
I didn't plan on doing the rear main seal but maybe I will add it to the list.

Garage List
When I changed the clutch in my E46 330i ZHP I replaced #14 in the below picture as a recommendation from a BMW master tech.

If you have side to side or forward/back play in the shifter while in neutral, this piece is likely worn out. After replacing it, it made the gear shifter feel like brand new - that nice tight zero-slack feeling. It's very simple to change when the trans is down, and the the 335's have the same piece.

I think the BMW Performance Shifter doesn't fit on xi.
So I think you have to get the UCC Shifter.

Let me know when you get the spec installed what your thoughts are. I might be going that route eventually so curious as to what you think in terms of pedal feel, engagement point, etc... Also i'm sure you said this in here but i skipped over it what are you doing for flywheel? Did you just buy the Luk one similar to oem on ecs or are you doing a different one?
