Comparison between an AA and a Muffler delete. The AA is my car and the muffler delete is my friends.

Apples and oranges since the muffler delete car also had the resonator deleted. (per the titles in the video)

AA is definitely not as loud as a muffler delete, hence the extra resonator in place of the muffler. Why would you want an exhaust that is quiet? :

the aa isnt particularly loud, theres just a lot of harmonious droning caused by the low frequency sound waves emitted from 1.5-2.5k rpm.

Some might find it agitating. Driving in manual or sport mode helps

I agree with you, my car gets pretty boomy 2k-2.5k. That is why I say that if you can't stand any drone then stay away from the AA and even more so the muffler delete.

What is a drone exactly? Can't really find a clear answer.

Drone is subjective, that is why you won't find a definitive since it differs from person to person.

Drone is basically the sound/vibration in the cabin when you accelerate.

Do you find that there is a lot of drone?

I always listen to my music loud, so I'm not sure if I'd notice it too much.

Too me drone isn't drone unless the cabin is vibrating and going uphill for a long time pisses me off. On flat roads I don't notice anything. In the end you won't make these NA cars louder than a stock '03-'06 v6 mustang with borla/magnaflow mufflers. The loudest I have had my car drone is with my 3in straight y-pipe and free flow muffler. And still not louder than a mustang. I've been meaning to get back to that set up and post videos for comparisons.
