Spacer question for E90 LCI Sport with OEM 18s
Does anyone know if I can fit 12mm spacers on the rear of my E90 LCI Sport with OEM 287s without rubbing or rolling my fenders? I measured the gap between the wheel and fender and it looks closer to 10mm. I don't want to open some spacers and end up getting stuck with them if they don't fit.
I'm running Michelon Pilot Sports Front 18"x8" 225/40R18 Offset 34mm Rear 18"x8.5" 255/35R18 Offset 39mm Thanks. |

Hi, I have the exact same set up as you. I run 12 mm on the front and 15 mm on the back. It works perfectly. You could even got to 18mm on the back and possibly 20mm but you would need to measure to be sure for the 20mm.

Sweet, thanks for the reply. I'm surpised 15mm fits in the rear based on the measurement I took but I believe you. I'll have to pull the trigger then. |

Good thing you measured! My guess is 10-12mm if that's what you're measuring.

I wont go more then 15mm in the Rear and 10mm in the front since yours is 2009 335i LCI.
Pre-LCI you can go max as 20mm on Rear and 12mm on Front. good link about this . http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=706569

As previously mentioned, you can easily run 12 mm spacers on the front and 15 mm spacers on the back. I have attached afew pic's of my car with the exact same set up as you with the 12 and 15 mm spacers. As you can see it gets you allot closer to flush but still you could go slighter further on the backs if desired.

I had 15mm spacers on the rear and I had to get my fenders rolled. I now run 12mm up front and on the rear.

Michelin PSS are more squared off at the corners and are more likely to rub than some other same-sized tires. Some of these guys saying they are running 12, 15+ size spacers in the rear may not be on PSS.

I can confirm as well that I have no problem with running 15mm rear spacers. I'm using my stock m-sport rims for a winter setup with Michelin Alpin 225/40/18 in the rear and there is plenty of room.

I'm thinking of 20mm rear. I measured and there seems to be plenty of room. Mine is E90 335i M Sport.

So I put 12.5mm TMS spacers on the rear of my E90 LCI yesterday. They fit perfect; they are flush and there is no rubbing so far and it looks like it should stay that way. A bigger spacer would be cutting it close and may rub with the tires I have (Michelin Pilot Sport). I actually like the staggered look so I'm only doing the rears for now.
Thanks for all the input. |

I am not sure about the maximum that you could go but I do know that you can go with 15mm up front and 18mm in the back and have no rubbing issues. Beyond that I am not sure to be honest.
