'08 6AT FBO (Stock Turbos, Helix FMIC, aFe DCI, Akrapovic DPs) with COBB ProTune for E85 Blend & 93 Octane E85 Blend ProTune: 428 WHP / 460 WTQ (Delta Over Stock: 158 WHP / 170 WTQ and Delta Over 93 Octane ProTune: 48 WHP / 65 WTQ). The second E85 pull read 420 WHP / 465 WTQ. Can't remember the values for the 3rd. ![]() ![]() ![]() 93 Octane ProTune: 380 WHP / 395 WTQ (Delta Over Stock: 110 WHP / 105 WTQ) **Not sure why there are those dips in graphs 2 & 3, but Garth thinks it’s probably the OEM DME pulling timing – Note that the specific RPM it occurs at changes. We were able to get one undisturbed pull (Graph #1) by reseting the DME before the pull. ![]() ![]() ![]() Stock Baseline with Installed Mods: 270 WHP / 290 WTQ ![]() |

I've been searching everywhere, but what mods would need to be done to obtain as close to 400rwhp as possible on the N54?
I don't really want to run E85 or meth if I dont have to... Plus i'm on crappy CA 91 octane... Would tune, intake, intercoolers, and catless dp's do it? TIA!

428 HP and 454 Torque - 2008 535i
Hello
Had a chance to do a before/after dyno comparison on my 535i N54 yesterday. I'm running the BMS DCI, a custom catback system, and a $100 inline fuel pump ( AEM 320 ), holding hi and consistent PSI and factory dp, IC, etc... To start, we, ( Terry ) ran 91 octane bone stock. Then we added the JB4 G5 ISO, BMS Flash, and 60% E85. Did a few adaption runs on map 5 which peaked out around 410rw. Then we kicked it over to map 7 and pushed it up a bit further. For kicks we ( T ) dialed boost up a bit further using map 6 and picked up a bit more power, but I had an original plug in #6 (I had only replaced 1-5, the 6th plug was broken, waiting for replacement, NGK 5992: Gap - .022 ) which would misfire at high RPM so we ( T ) left boost lower at redline. W O W !! I have to give Terry a BIG SHOUT OUT !! His Tunes are Amazing, his Customer Service is way above par E85 FTW And here are the pics to go with this Amazing Day !! Well, at least for me,

I have a dyno day coming up and am wondering where I should ball park with my mods I am going to install...
I have -BMS DCI -AR charge pipe -AA 3" catless downpipes -AE catless catback -ETS 7" FMIC -Aquamist meth kit running 90% and two large nozzles -JB4 I will doing a run on 93 and a run on Race @ sea level and should be in the 40's. any guess on what to expect?
