I plan to drive Friday night after work, let me know when you're free, I'll drive up, I'm in San leandro, Thursday I'm free except noon time but other than that.

I work at the Port of Oakland and we can meet up there after work. I get off around 4-5pm usually and probably wayyyy easier for you going there than to the city.

I'll pack it up and leave it in my car at the mean time.

Depends. Do you need both OSX and Windows running at the same time, or just the ability to boot up Windows via restarting the machine? If you need them running at the same time, you need virtualization software like Parallels. Otherwise OSX has a built-in utility called Boot Camp which lets you set up a partition of the hard drive to act as a Windows partition. When you boot up the computer, you can select if you want to launch into OSX or Windows, but not at the same time.
