M3 rep rims on an '07 328xi??

So i'm at the dealership waiting for my car and i start chit chatting with the parts counter guy so I ask him...

"Will M3 wheels fit on my car?"

He says: "yeah they fit...no wait..you said XI? No they won't. The backs will fit but not the front"

I've yet to any post/pics of anyone's 06-08 XI with M3 rims but can anyone tell me if this is true? He did mention..."it would work with spacers but then the front wheels would stick out."

Again...is that right?

Also if anyone has an 06-08 328xi with these rims on, i'd def like to see it.

Thanks for the help and sorry if this is the *enth time it's been posted.

I think that the parts guy is pulling your leg. I've got reps on my car. 19ins all around. 8.5 for front and 9.5in for the back. I don't remember what exactly the offset was though.

There have been some people saying that running a staggered setup causes some issues for the all wheel drive but I've yet to have any problems.

One thing I've learned over time is that the service advisers and parts people at dealerships know absolutely nothing beyond stock setup from the factory. Given the wheel has a proper offset in the mid 30s and you keep the rim width below 10" in the rear and below 9" in the front. You should be fine, as long as you also follow the recommended tire sizes that we've talked about in other threads.

Are you talking about M3 reps or OEM M3 rims? There's a big difference. Reps come in all sizes and offsets so there is definitely a set out there that will easily fit your car. OEM M3 rims will fit as well with some fendor modifications.

I bought 18" M3 reps from **********s. fits my '06 325xi.

they have 19" ones as well. check the offsets on their website. if you really want OEM ones, then i have no idea.

The E9X M3 style wheels look perfect on the car and I'm glad to hear that you're happy with them

The short answer is no, the OEM M3 wheels will not fit your 328xi as the offsets are far too aggressive and will cause major rubbing issues.

Please see below for the setups for the E9X M3 style wheel that will work perfectly for your 328xi

18" non-staggered:
18x8.0 ET35 all around

18" staggered:
18x8.0 ET35
18x9.0 ET35

19" non-staggered:
19x8.5 ET35

19" staggered:
19x8.5 ET35
19x9.5 ET35

Here's a picture of the E9X M3 style wheel on a customers car just like yours:
E90 328i
Front: 18x8.5 ET35
Rear: 18x8.5 ET35

Uhm, If you're talking about OEM M3 sheels (not replicas) , I am pretty sure they will not fit due to the aggressive offsets of the M3 wheels. I have an XI and have a staggered set up with a drop and have had absolutely no issues whatsoever.

This is absolutely incorrect, OEM M3 wheels DO fit all E9x's and there are a number of members running them. Yes, you need to roll your fenders to allow extra clearance but it is entirely possible...in fact, here is an entire thread by Mtechnik3 who put OEM M3 rims on his car..

yes, if you roll your fenders they will fit but no one from the dealer will ever say or recommend that to you, alot of things will fit if you modify them.

Exactly! The OEM M3 wheels will not fit as a "direct" fitment as you will have to make modifications to your fender.

I have a 07 328xi e93. just bought the m3 e93 factory wheels. After installing, i drove down the block and my car was kicking, i stopped right away and went back to factory.

Wheel set up was 235/35/19 front and 265/65/19. Please let me know if these will fit my 328xi. If not I will sell them.

I'm assuming that you meant 235/35/19 and 265/35/19 because the sizes you posted are way off. However, the correct tire size would be 235/35/19 front, 265/30/19 rear or you could use a 275/30/19 rear.
