Alpina flash

Can somebody point me to a source in the east or south bay to get the alpina gearbox flash done? It's beyond my DIY skill set...

I would strongly recommend Alex@Alpine for this job. I just had it done yesterday with all the other bunch of nice coding options done for $60.

If you have everything setup, it's a fairly simple job. If not, you'll have to get all the cables and spend the time to make sure everything is setup correctly and that's going to cost you a lot more than $60.

Alex is really helpful and he definitely knows what he's doing. I do a decent amount of programming myself as an engineer and I would recommend Alex for this flash and other coding services.

He's located in Culver City, which is a 20-30 minute drive from South Bay.

It's a transmission flash that changes when your AT would shift and improves the responsiveness of your shift if you are in manual mode.

Look back into an earlier post. They talk about it.

You had the alpina flash done by him? How do you like it so far?

LOL op means San Jose southbay, not Torrance southbay. OP's location says "NorCal"

Haha. Oops.

The new transmission software shifts are really smooth. The only issue I'm having is a really hard downshift when I'm stopping going from S2->S1. There's no issues with D2->D1.

Maybe it's time for an ATF flush, or maybe look into something listed in this post.
