AMD things question
i duno if this is going to be a stupid question or not but ok
my laptop uses a Turion 64 cpu but my add and remove program stated that my computer use an athlon 64 drive why is that?

Turion is just a name similar to Intel's Centrino. It's not a processor name. It's just a 'standard'. Same with Centrino, there is no such thing as a "Centrino processor". Centrino Certified Laptops have a processor called "Pentium-M". In addition to that, they must have Intel's chipset and wireless adapter. So your Turion 64 laptop actually has an Athlon 64 Processor. Although I am not sure what the program "Athlon 64 Drive" is, I wouldn't worry about it.

Oh.. were you trying to say that your computer uses a "Athlon 64 Driver" not "Athlon 64 Drive"? If it is, it makes sense. This driver is supposed to throttle your processor according to situation and load.
