You need to tap on the plastic elbow just before the intake.
(just before the number 13 on the part list you have posted.)

I have not receive the ecs vent pod yet.
I have just hook up a old gauge and brake boost to see if it work. All work perfectly.
Now need to find a place to pass the hose on the firewall. I will only receive my new boost gauge and pod tuesday. For now i have plug the hoose.

Sorry for my bad english.

The installation is done and the boost gauge work PERFECTLY on my car.
The boost gauge is a Prosport in a ECS vent pod.
Its really funny to see close to 30 psi !!! The boost spike to 28-29 and drop to 26-27 psi steady. Thats a lot of boost for a stock car !

Pic to come tomorrow.

So now that we have a place to tap into, can we use any boot gauge? Will the P3gauge work?

Yes, you can use any gauge.
For the installation, you dont have to remove the climate control and radio unit + the center console like in the ECS instruction. ( i dont like to remove to much plastic part)
You can pass the vaccum hose under the steering column and connect the wiring on the fuse boxe on the rear of the glovebox.

if there is a vacuum tap, you should be able to use the same location as the dude from quebec above to tap into the p3 gauge

Here is where you need to tap.

I will put more pics this afternoon (this is the only 2 i have on my iphone and i am at work.)

For me, i preffer a needle boost gauge over a digital, easier to read and easy to see how fast the boost go up.

I will polish the hole on the motor cover when i have time... You dont have to do this, you can tap more on the left side of the elbow. I prefer my place because the plastic is more deep and flat.

Yes, on the #3 pic, you can see the needle at 28 psi.
Our car run a lot of boost...
On a launch in 2nd gear, i can brake boost to 15 psi... Very good for a fast start
