Driver windows switch

My e90 driver side windows switch is broken a piece as in the picture.
I search around the DIY section to see how to change it, but I cant find any. Please teach me how to open that up to change another one. Thanks

You got some dirty fingers, clean that thing!

Your best bet is to find that whole switch assembly at a junk yard or used, online. Don't take my word for it, but sometimes those kind of things can be popped right off with a soft tool. I don't know for sure though...

^ this. get a trim removal kit from Harbor Freight. I don't think you need to take off the arm rest.
