Cool Surviving Boston with a 328i?

Hey guys,

I am moving to Boston soon from Dallas, Texas and will be taking my 2007 328i with me. I'll be taking the T to work but planning to use the car on weekend/random trips. Can anyone with the same vehicle(hence no all wheel drive) tell me how it is for you on snow days and such?

Thanks!

Pickup snow tires for the winter time and you will be fine.

I have a set of wheels for sale that would be perfect for snow tires! http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=786052

But you'll be fine if you have the right (snow)tires.

If its not actively snowing and you don't have to use your car 12-24 hours after a big storm you don't need to worry. They're good at clearing most if not all roads within a short period of time.

I think the awd message here is overkill. And I have it.

The best times I had living in Boston, steps from the Pru .. was when I didn't have my car in the city.. think PRU parking was 500 a month. resident parking with a pass 'backbay' was a bumper nightmare-

Get some good winter tires and you will be fine. I slapped some blizzaks on my m3 when I had it and it was good in snow and ice.

Blizzaks are the way to go. I had Blizzaks on my 87 Buick Century back in the day and I used to tear shit up!!
