Wanna see some snow??

Here's photos received from my in-laws today who are snowed in. They live in a small hamlet on the outskirts of Rochdale served by a mile long single track road which is now blocked. Some sections are flanked by dry-stone walls that just fill with snow and take weeks & weeks to thaw (usually a local farm eventually digs them out). The took to walking through the fields, waist deep in snow, to bring in some preserves. The biggest drift is 20 feet tall.

We're supposed to be there next weekend for an Easter BBQ - think that's in some doubt now!!!

Just saw this in the new, snow caos in UK.

Here it's unseasonable cold too, but sunny and dry weather.
