It's hard to tell from the way you are checking them. Don't twist the components: this is normal funtionality and doesn't mean anything. Try to move the arms and rods up and down or left and right when they are installed. Any relative motion between the two assembled components is bad and reason for replacement.

How many miles are on your chasis? all the play (none) and movement looks very normal. Your steering shimmy can be from unbalanced tires or tire tread internal separation. The excessive steering play can be from toe out of specs after installing the coilovers (messing with ride height).

fyi

Hey Guys.

Just to update everyone. The movement on my inner and outter tie rod ends were completely abnormal.

Inner Tie Rods: The fact that the inner tie rod would not hold its position is an indication that it was worn. New ones are very difficult to move.

Outer Tie Rods: Same story, you shouldn't be able to move the threaded part with the ball joint that easily.

After I changed both these parts, I had this vibration that I wuold get in my steering wheel it completely went away. Also the car handles much better. Of course there is less play in the steering wheel/

End links: Same story too much play in them. I changed them with Moogs(just looking for cheap replacements) and there was virtually no play.
