Run your vin through a vin decoder such as http://bmwvin.com/

however my understanding is that all 335i coupes sold in the US had the m-sport although I am only repeating what I've heard. Mine has the m-sport but also had the sport package option selected. However underneath the "sport package" on the window sticker the only items listed are 19" wheels, sport seats, and shadowline trim - and nowhere on the window sticker does it say anything about m-sport suspension. I don't have the aerodynamics package (m-sport bodywork) so it would appear to be the case that it was standard.

You could also measure from the ground to the insider of your fender. M-Sport sits about an inch lower than the normal suspension package.

What is the official difference between an M-Sport suspension and a Sport Suspension (ZSP)?

Everything is the same except for the rear sway bar. They are both 13mm, But the ZSP has thicker sidewalls so it is slightly stiffer.

In the US there is don difference between the m-sport and regular sport suspension. Overseas the m-sport came with the bmw performance suspension and upgraded bars. I believe the springs on your euro m-sport should be yellow.

Wow, the next BMW I buy just might have to be a Euro version! I'm now on the verge of spending $ to roll my own Performance Suspension.

Just now checked the VIN on my 2008 e90 (bought it used). It has the the following:
S704A M SPORTFAHRWERK M Sports suspension

I guess that's what the standard Sports Suspension (ZSP) is called in the US.
