Got mine installed yesterday. Quite a bit of drone. We'll see if I get use to it.

Also, are you guys really that lazy to reprint the instructions? The picture shows a 3" measurement for cutting the pipe, and the writing says something along the lines of "picture shows 3", please cut 2.5" instead"

Just got my AA tune and AA exhaust added to my 328xi 2008 with N51 engine. I gotta say Im loving it so far, Like others there is the drone at 2k rpm but mines only lasts from 2 - 2.5 and is not really that bad. guys at E - shit performance in NJ did an awesome job with the welding/mounting. No complaints here, was skeptical before. But I can confirm there is def drone around the rpm range but if your crusing with light foot on pedal its not there. Only comes when you really floor it. But the sound is worth it :]

I Experience ZERO drone cruising at highway speeds... Well cruising at any speed really.
I installed myself. Extremely satisfied, glad I didn't buy the BMW PE honestly.

Didn't look into who was best just went to them because of the way the owner mike I believe replied to me and how close they were. He explained everything being done gave me a great deal even offered me food because I had to stick around till they finished. But all in all I have never been treated that great at a shop.

Recommended if anyone gets mods done in nj

Hey Andrew, do you happen to have a solution to stop the little compartment in the back of the coupe from rattling/vibrating?

Hey I just was this post and U can prevent the rattle by removing the compartment cover. I did this to mine and it looks clean and doesn't rattle. Love the exhaust! had it installed for over 3K miles already.

How do you remove it? That would be the best option it seems.

All you do is just grab the center counsol in the back and pull up, it should pop right off, after that just remove the 2-4 screws on the back of the counsol and slide the cover out. Then just re install the counsol back.

I noticed an exhaust leak where the AA exhaust connected to the factory piping. I wonder if this is the cause of the drone or just adding to it. I'm having the shop who installed it fix it tomorrow morning.

I just noticed that today as well when I heard air leaking somewhere, checked the exhaust found some water leaking along with air where it was connected to the factory piping and before it as well on the new exhaust 0_o

Guys, looking to pull the trigger on this exhaust...

However when I looked at the site (AA), it says it won't fit the xi models. I see on this thread a few fellow xi's with the exhaust... not to beat a dead horse here, just want to clarify. This exhaust does work with xi models? For reference, I have a 2008 E92 328xi. Thanks!
