How many XI's out there with 500 WHP/TQ.?

I'm curious how many successful XI's are out there with 500 WHP/TQ.?

My car is 6at, fbo and I'm installing NX express kit (35-50 shot) this weekend.. If I upgraded the valve body what would be the next weak link in the drivetrain?

Well, mine is above the 500 mark, but still conservatively tuned on just 91 pump and meth, so there's a decent amount left. I think we are all waiting to see just how much the transfer case can handle before exploding

Do the Alpina TCU flash before anything.

It will also be interesting to see where JP ends up with the Vargas stage 2s he is beta testing.

30-50 shot won't get you 500whp, I did a 100 shot and only hit 480whp. The problem was the trans was slipping, mostly due to the 550wtq. Nitrous makes crazy torque, so not the best solution for longevity on the 6AT in our cars.

I don't think anyone has done the Alpina flash BEFORE running tons of TQ thru the drivetrain. Most people flashing now with RB's or similar power levels have either been beating their AT's on stock flash with no internal upgrades or beating them on Level 10 internals or similar still with stock flash. I think Terry has done some wizardry with the ECU and how it talks to the tranny but it is not clear to me what that is or does.

IOW unmolested 6HP21 tranny is virtually completely untested as far how well it will stand up to massive TQ when the right or at least better parameters are in the TCU. Probably too much to hope for as far as being bulletproof but maybe it will last a lot longer and not be so awful to drive.

We'll see.

edit: it is funny, one reason I got an AT + AWD was I was hoping there would be massive power available at some point (like GTR levels), and I thought an AT + AWD would prove to hold up better than MT + AWD. That is certainly the case on other platforms. Turns out the 6MT is nearly bulletproof and with a SMFW and better clutch that would have been a better choice in retrospect. Ah well.

Only a couple... I had a nice nail in the tire this weekend, but car is back with four new tires to play with, so if work calms down this week i will try to get out one of these evenings, otherwise I will hopefully be flying around while everyone is hunting easter eggs this weekend.

There's this one

didn't even pull out after i went by... but I called it a day after that

You're going to need a Valentine One next to your vbox like me

It would be cool to see an 1/8 mile run on the vbox if you're out messing around, even soft launch would have trap speed which is useful.

Just thought I would share...
First dyno was done stock on a Dyno Dynamics (fuse pulled) this is on my 07 xi sedan.
Second dyno was done on a FX5000 roll linked AWD dyno and put some pretty good numbers I think...but I guess you guys will decide that for me.

I know this is off topic but how much power does it take to spin in 1st gear? I have JB4 and stock run flats and the car does not break traction.

I think that has a lot to do with what tires you're running and if you launch it.

Noticed you went to airboy tuning, did Sunny tune the car for you? Or simply just a dyno pull?
